Ellen Reynolds Jenkins

1963 - 2015

Eleanor Reynolds Jenkins died of melanoma on March 28, 2015.

Ellen was born March 19, 1963 and grew up in Summit, NJ. She moved to Colorado in 1984, where she graduated from Metropolitan State College. Ellen subsequently earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. She pursued a career in social work, most recently serving as a case manager at Boulder Community Hospital.

Ellen is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Matthews; her stepmother, Winifred Reynolds; sisters Betsy Szajowski, Gigi Reynolds, Joanne Reynolds; her brother, Richard Reynolds; stepsisters Barb Perdue and Sandra Perdue; her partner, Nick Volenec; BFF Sarah Mason Broach and six nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Ellen's name to The Denver Hospice (denverhospice.org) and the Fund for Melanoma Research (fund # 0222261) through the CU Foundation (cufund.org).
