Kerri Farley Boersma
1963 - 2006
Kerri, age 43, of North Raleigh, North Carolina, was born and raised in Summit, New Jersey, and New York, New York.
Mrs. Boersma was a graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, and spent 20 years in the advertising, magazine publishing, and beauty industries, most recently as the vice president for public relations for Revlon.
She was the devoted wife of Todd Boersma, director of marketing for executive education at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, and loving mother of Olivia, 6, and Sean, 5. She was the adoring stepmother to Isabel Boersma, 17, and Emily Boersma, 16, of Nashville, Tennessee.
Kerri was an avid runner, having completed many marathons and half-marathons, including the New York City Marathon. She was a Stephen Minister and actively involved in missions at Grace Community Church.
She is the daughter of Charles Farley of Lutz, Florida, and Georgia Hughes of New York City. She is survived by sisters, Shawn Black of Long Beach, California, and Courtenay Snovell of Chicago, Illinois.
